For over the past year, the innovation of the teaching and assessing in all the practical credits in all the divisions of the univerisity has been done. To evaluate the results obtained, the problems, and to suggest meassurements to improve the quality of teaching and assessing students' practice in practicing rooms of all the divisions, the division carried out the survey: The reality of teaching and assessing students' practice in practicing rooms of Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2014. The method of cross-study was used on 1483 students who had practiced in 12 divisions in 4 departments: Department of basic science, Department of basic medicine, and Department of public health, and Department of Pharmacy. The survey showed that there are changes in the teaching contents, the organising of teaching, the organising of assessment and the conditions of ensuring the quality of teaching, as follows: - In the teaching contents: Department of basic sciences was assessed the best (2/3 divisions ranking Good). - In the organising of teaching: Department of basic sciences was assessed the best (2/3 divisions ranking Good). - In the organising of assessment: 2 dep20/4/artments (Department of basic medicine and Department of Public health) were assessed being weak. - In the conditions of ensuring the quality of teaching: 4 departments were assessed being moderately good.
