This paper presents method and results using CAD tools in 3D and 2D fashipn garment design. Input of the design process is virtual 3D mannequin model simulating surfaces ofthe human bodies, which are built from 3D body scan data of primary schoolgirls. This study uses 3D design techniques, directly designs on virtual 3D mannequin, uses method flattening from 3D surface model of dress products to 2D design model applied in industrial garments manufacturing and evaluating design quality based on sewing method of virtual samples and trying 3D simulation. Three useful softwares about 3D design used are: Rapid Form XOR3, Pro-Engineer and Accumark V-Stitcher software of Gerber.
