The cross sectional study was carried out in 2014 in 1,286 students of grades 4 and 5 in Tan Hong district, Dong Thap province to describe their knowledge and practice flood risk reduction (FRR) and determine some related factors. Results: 89.1 percent of the stu,dents understood about flooding period, 97.0 percent of students identified the types of flood, 81.3 percent of students had good knowledge and 88.9 percent of students had good practices on FRR. No difference was found among girl and boy groups (p0.05). Some related factors to the students' knowledge and practice include: "Students were reminded on FRR by parents", "be able to access information about FRR at house", "Parlicipating in developing school's FRR plan", "be able to access information about FRR at school" and "Students' knowledge on FRR" (relating to practice). Recommendations: (i) Education sector should continue to maintain and expand the intervention model to raise awareness and practice on FRR for students and (ii) Family should keep reminding children on learning and practicing FRR.
