Aim: Determining formula, productive process, stability and antibacterial effect in vitro of Piodine-VB ointment 10 percent and Piodine-VB cream 5 percent. Methods:Selecting some excipients which suitable for producting Povidon iodin ointment and cream. Designing 9 formulas for the Piodine-VB ointment 10 percent. 10 formulas for the Piodine-VB cream 5 percent. Investigating the influence of the excipients to the constitution and the physical stability of the products. Thereby selecting the most optimal drug formula. Estimating the stability of the ointment Piodine-VB 10 percent and cream Piodine-VB 5 percent by testing qualitative analyses and quantitative analyses at different times: 0, 3, 6, 9 months. Evaluating antibacterial effect in vitro of the products by using diffusion method with Aci.baumannii, S.aureus, P.aeruginosa comparing with Betadin ointment 10 percent. Conclusion: the authors have completed building the formulas, production processes and estimated the stablility as well as estimated anti bacteria effect of the Piodine-VB ointment 10 percent and Piodine-VB cream 5 percent.
