A study was carried on 72 bum patients admitted to Bum department, Sainpall hospital, Hanoi from 1/20013 - 4/2014. Glycerol preserved porcine skin dermal was used to treat superdermal and dermal bum wounds. Result showed that porcine skin dermal was adhesive on the ,bum surface with average time of 4.76 +/- 0.85 days for superdemal injury and 6.92 +/- 0.57 days for dermal injury. Patient had comfortable felling. Reduced edema, pain, dressing frequency as well as good aesthetic quality were also recorded as compared that treated with Silver sulfadiazine 1 percent.
