Objective: To compare some symptoms and laboratory tests in SLE patients with hyperlipoprotein. Subject and methode: A cross-sectional and case control study. 60 SLE patients were divided into two groups: with or without hyperlipoproteinemia. Result: More than 80 percent of the. patients were female. Hyperlipoproteinemia was coveriated in correlation with BMI: r=0.446 and p0.05. the authors did not find any difference among symptoms or autoantibodies between two SLE groups: with or without hyperlipoproteinemia. However, hyperlipoproteinemia was strongly associated with internal organ disorders, especially anemia, renal diseases and heart diseases compared to the control group. Conclusion: BMI was coveriated in correlation with hyperlipoproteinemia and it might increase the risk of internal organ disorders among SLE patients.
