Delivery bleeding caused the death of 150.000 pregnant women. This study was carried out in order to describe the changes of first line coagulation test in 3rd trimester pregnant women and determine factors related to first line coagulation test in 3rd trimester pregnant women. The subjects were divided in to two groups, study group (254 pregnant women 30 weeks) and control group (50 women aged 15-49). All subjects were checked-up, interviewed and blood taken for platelet count, PT, aPTT, fibrinogen. The results showed that, platelet count was 203 +/- 63,93 G/I, PT was 11,11 +/- 0,7s, aPTT was 27,43 +/- 1,97s in study group that decreased in comparison with control group
fibrinogen was 3,99 +/- 0,44g/l in study group that increased in comparison with control group. There were a linear regression equation between BMI and fibrinogen: Fib=3,11 + 0,035xBMI. Conclusions: 1/ First line coagulation test in 3rd trimester pregnant women was hypercoagulation in comparision with control group. 2/ There were a linear regression equation between BMI and fibrinogen.
