The purpose of this study was to assess the associations between clinical presentations of hemorrhagic and epilepsy of the brain AVM and their angioarchitectures. Study was performed at Bach Mai hospital for 10 years, from 1/2002 to 8/2012. There are 221 patients with AVMs including 120 brain hemorrhages and 48 patients with epilepsy. The angioarchitectures of the nidus including location, measurement, feeding arteries, drainage veins were documented. This study suggests that AVMs with small nidus, single draining vein and venous stenosis were significant associated features for hemorrhagic presentation. It also suggests that AVMs with multiple and dilated draining veins were significant associated features.for epilepsy.
