The quantitative electromyography (QEMG) includes a number of different data processing techniques and various methods analyzing EMG signals for diagnostic and research purposes. This paper describes a QEMG method for analyzing intramuscular EMG (iFMG) signals based on evaluated characteristics of motor unit active potential (MUAP). The QEMG method uses a newly segmentation method, which was developed based on the known methods. This allows the QEMG method could detected 97 percent MUAP segments of iEMG signal, and obtained 28 characteristics of the iEMG signals. As a result, the evaluation and diagnosis based on iEMG become quantitative and detailed.
