The aim of this paper is to propose an evaluation framework for university - industrial enterprises collaboration in technology transfer. The framework will be used for examining the factors that can contribute to the success of this collaboration. These factors can be classified into three kinds: factors related to university (faculty, university's contribution, research program), factors related to industry (company's intention, company's contribution) and factors related to technology transfer function (management of technology transfer activity, intellectual property activity). Several indicators, both quantitative and qualitative, have been developed. Data for identifying and evaluating these indicators can be obtained through published documents and interviews with senior officials at university and industrial enterprises. Thus, the collaboration's success is assessed, and the suggestions for strengthening the collaboration are made. The paper not only has theoretical contribution but also is useful for improving management of technology transfer from university to industrial enterprises.
