Vietnam is home to some of the world's greatest riches in biodiversity and insect fauna is no exception. It is also considered to be one of the nations most affected by climate change
In Vietnam, as elsewhere, the linkages between biodiversity and climate change are complex and intricately related to human activities in the ecosystem. In Vietnam, there is particular concern regarding the impact of climate change to the health and well - being of human, to forestrial, agricultural and aquatic ecosystems. Based on analysis of the role of insects in nature and society life, and impacts of climate change to insects generally, to economically significant insects particularly, recommendations for insects conservation and for control of insect pests and vectors in the climate change context have been proposed.
