Pimplinae is a relatively diverse subfamily of lchneumonidae (Hymenoptera) with a total of about 1,500 known species belonging to 72 genera (Yu & Horstmann, 1997). Recently, a several new species of this subfamily have been described (e.g., Chao, 1997

Vietnam. Since this publication, the currently known number of Pimplinae species and genera in Vietnam are 43 and 10, respectively. This paper discusses about the diversity of the pimp line wasps in Vietnam and provides four new records of the genera Afrephialtes, Gregopimpla and Sericopimpla from this country.
