In total 532 Eulichad specimens have been studied, the specimens have been collected from different geographical areas of Vietnam since 1981 and are preserved in the Institute of Ecology and Biological Resources (Hanoi, Vietnam). A list of 17 species of the genus Eulichas was provided and the key to the species of this genus was constructed. Of which two species are belonging to the subgenus Forficulichas and fifteen ones to the subgenus Eulichas. Four species are newly recorded for Vietnam namely Eulichas (F.) horaki Jach, Eulichas (E.) janbezdeki Hajek, Eulichas (E) pantherina Hajek, Eulichas (E.) haucki Hajek. In addition, two species (Eulichas (E) sp.1, and Euiichas (E) sp.2) should be described as species new for science in the near future. The family Eulichadidae from Vietnam shows a high diversity among the species. They form 39.5 percent of the total species recorded of the world. Five species showed to be endemic, i.e. only recorded from Vietnam: Eulichas (F.) dembickyi Jach, E (E.) milleri Ivie et Jach, E (E.) tonkinensis Jach, E (E) sp.1 and Eulichas (E.) sp.2.
