Beekeepers in Moc Chau - Son La in recent years faced many difficulties, of which the harmful effects of predators and diseases are eminent. During this study 26 enemy species were identified, causing diseases in honey bees in Moc Chau - Son La during Summer - Autumn 2010. 18 species caused damage by eating, loss of honey - pollen or breaking the beebread and 8 were parasitic species, causing disease. These harmful agents are: Vespa spp., Camponotus compressus, Tropilaelaps clareae, Tropilaelaps thaii, Nosema ceranae, European Foulbrood caused by the bacterium Melissococcus plutonius and Sacbrood (SBV) caused by a virus.
