In this paper, from the standpoint of professors in pure science, the authors emphasized pedagogic capacities at teacher-tudents in the two aspects, namely capacities to organize teaching-learning activities and capacities to organize researching/ discovering activities of students. The authors also analyzed the role and tasks of lecturers and departments of pure science in formatting and improving these capacities for teacher-students: To "equip" fundamental and up-to-date knowledge and skills to students
To strengthen regularly students' geographical thinking
to shape in them habits of considering practical issues from the standpoint of geography
To use all opportunities to teach in combination pure science and pedagogic application
To practice basic skills necessary to students in their research and teaching activities in the future
To transfer enthusiasm and love of teaching geography to students.
