Khảo sát các yếu tố liên quan tới viêm phúc mạc trên 316 người bệnh thẩm phân phúc mạc liên tục điều trị ngoại trú tại khoa Nội thận, bệnh viện Chợ Rẫy. Kết quả cho thấy các yếu tố nguy cơ dẫn tới viêm phúc mạc gồm có tuổi cao trên 60, mới thực hiện thẩm phân phúc mạc dưới 12 tháng, sống tại các vùng nông thôn và tình trạng albumin máu thấp dưới 3,5g/dL.Objectives: This research was conducted to evaluate the factors related to peritonitis in patient using ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). Subjects and method: Retrospective study in 316 patients, include 117 cases with peritonitis and 199 cases without peritonitis. Result: The most important related to peritonitis in CAPD patients include: (1) Unchangable risk factor: age >
60, CAPD in less than 12 months, live in countryside region, and (2) changable risk factor: hypoalbuminemia (plasma albumin <
3,5 g/dL). Conclusion: The Age and low serum albumin are important risk factors for peritonitis in patients with CAPD treatment.
