Nghiên cứu cho thấy chủ yếu cơn nhịp nhanh kịch phát trên thất là cơn AVNRT và hay gặp ở nữ hơn nam, thời gian trơ hiệu quả cơ nhĩ và cơ thất ở nhóm người cao tuổi dài hơn so với nhóm trẻ.
