Đánh giá kết quả điều trị 48 bệnh nhân u tuyến yên bằng dao gamma quay tại trung tâm Y học hạt nhân và ung bướu, bệnh viện Bạch Mai. Kết quả cho thấy nồng độ hormon PRL và GH cải thiện tốt sau điều trị, các hormon sau điều trị ACTH, TSH, LH, FSH trong ngưỡng giá trị bình thường. Kích thước khối u cũng giảm sau điều trị, giảm nhanh sau 12 tháng, không gặp trường hợp nào biến chứng nặng hay tử vong.Pituitary tumor accounts for about 10-15% of all brain tumors. Gamma Knife radiosurgery is an alternative in treatment of pituitary tumor. Objective: To evaluate treatment outcomes of the Rotating Gamma Knife Radiosurgery (RGKR) for pituitary adenomas at the Nuclear Medicine and Oncology Center - Bach Mai Hospital. Patients and method: Prospective interventional study. 48 patients >
18 years old were treated with Rotating Gamma Knife for pituitary tumor. All the patients had size of tumor <
5cm on MRI and recruited in between April 2008 and April 2016. Results: Male/female ratio was 1/2, patient age ranged from 21-78 years old with median of 44.6 ± 12.8 years old. Abnormal hormone level had been improved after radiosurgery. Size of the tumor was reduced. There were no severe side effects or death reported in the folbw up period. Conclusion: Radiosurgery with Rotating Gamma Knife is an effective and safe treatment method for pituitary tumor.
