Bằng việc kết hợp các phương pháp điều tra thực địa như điều tra sơ thám, điều tra theo dõi chi tiết trên các ô định vị trong thời gian 6 năm nhóm nghiên cứu đã đánh giá được động tái sinh dưới tán rừng, các thảm thực vật ngập mặn xã Đồng Rui, huyện Tiên Yên, tỉnh Quảng Ninh. Kết quả điều tra, theo dõi cho thấy tổ thành tầng cây cao và tầng cây tái sinh tại khu vực nghiên cứu tương đối đơn giản, với sự xuất hiện từ 1-4 loài ưu thế.By combining field survey methods such as preliminary surveys, detailed survey surveys on the permanent plots for a period of 6 years, the team assessed the regeneration dynamics under the forest canopy, the mangrove vegetations in Dong Rui commune, Tien Yen district, Quang Ninh province. The survey and monitoring results show that the high tree layer and regenerated tree layer in the study area are relatively simple, with the appearance of 1-4 dominant species.
