The research was carried out to describe the status of gingivitis and related factors at An Tuong and Hong Thai primary schools, Tuyen Quang town. Applied the cross-sectional descriptive design on total of 307 students in Grade 5 of the two schools. The results showed that the prevalence of dental caries is 52.5%
The dmft + DMFT indicators = 2.27. Rate of gingivitis and periodontitis: 12.7%. Of which: CPITN 1 = 11.1%, CPITN 2 = 1.5%. The main factor related to dental caries is the frequency of oral hygiene during the day. The basic recommendation of the study is to improve oral hygiene education for students on proper brushing and brush teeth enough time.Xác định thực trạng bệnh sâu răng viêm lợi và một số yếu tố liên quan trên 307 học sinh lớp 5 tại trường tiểu học An Tường và Hồng Thái, thị xã Tuyên Quang. Nghiên cứu cho thấy tỷ lệ bệnh sâu răng của học sinh 2 trường tiểu học trên là 62,5%, tỷ lệ viêm lợi và vùng quanh răng là 12,7%. Yếu tố chính liên quan tới tình trạng sâu răng của học sinh là tần suất vệ sinh răng miệng trong ngày.
