Neutral of the 22kV electric distribution networks must be grounded directly. However, in some cases, the 22kV side winding of distribution transformer has to be connected in triangle form. Therefore, it is necessary that should create an artificial neutral for the 22k V electric distribution networks aiming at grounding the neutral, limiting single-pole earth fault short-circuit current. This paper presents methods of computation, selection and test of artificial neutral creation reactor used in 22kV electric distribution networks to meet the technical standards, thus ensuring safe and effective working condition.
