Through a direct observation survey of households in Binh Minh Commune, Khoai Chau District, Hung Yen Province to find out the source of medicinal herbs and experience in collecting, processing and preserving medicinal herbs, the article draw the following conclusions: The commune has a large and diversified source of medicinal herbs, the main products are Pueraria thomsoni Benth, Kaempferia galanga L , Achyranthes aspera L... Many medicinal plants are significandy reduced, the area of the plantation is narrowed due to the low cost of other crops, ornamental plants, fish. The first part sells out precariously. There is no interest of local government as well as other policies of the state, most of them are traditional farming households who retain their occupation and do other business. Local people here have a lot of expenences in aquaculture, care and processing, so the quality of medicines is good. However, the harvesting, processing and preserving activities are limited to the level of small, rudimentary households, mainly semifinished products for agents, companies that come for procurement, unorganized and tested.Xã Mễ Sở có trữ lượng nguồn dược liệu lớn và đa dạng, sản phẩm chính là địa liền, cát căn, ngưu tất nam. Diện tích trồng dược liệu giảm đáng kể do giá thành không cao và giá bán ra bấp bênh. Chưa có sự quan tâm của chính quyền địa phương cũng như chính sách của nhà nước, đa phần hộ dân có truyền thống nuôi trồng dược liệu vẫn giữ lại nghề và có làm nghề kinh tế khác. Nhân dân địa phương có nhiều kinh nghiệm nuôi trồng, chăm sóc, chế biến dược liệu, do đó chất lượng thuốc đảm bảo tốt.
