The report introduces meteorological forecast models RAMS, ETA, WRF, HRM, MM5, WBAR
waves forecast models WAM,SWAN, STWAVE
and storm surge forecast models DELFT-3D, TSIM being used in research and operations in Vietnam. In the report the domain, grid, methods for creating inition conditions as local data assimilation, artificial cyclon breeding, the EPS, the storm trajectory ensemble are presented. Some key results about the weather forecast for 3 days in normal and storms conditions in Vietnam East Sea has been presented in a summary. These are the results of the research project KC09-04 and KC08-05 and scientific significance and service practices.
