The current reality shows that there are still some inadequacies in master's degree training in the major of Theory and Methodology of Teaching Fine Art. Therefore, it is necessary to have a strategy and procedures for implementing synchronous solutions in order to improve the training quality and satisfy the requirements of education reform in the context of globalization and international integration. This paper proposes some solutions as folows: the enrollment process, the training mode, the training curriculum, teaching methods, how to assign topics, review the proposals and evaluate the dissertation as well as the management, assessment, and supervision, which aiming at improving the training quality of this particular major.Thực tế hiện nay cho thấy, công tác đào tạo Thạc sĩ chuyên ngành Lí luận và Phương pháp dạy học Mĩ thuật còn nhiều tồn tại bất cập. Vì vậy, cần phải có chiến lược, lộ trình thực hiện đồng bộ các giải pháp nhằm nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo, đáp ứng yêu cầu đổi mới giáo dục trong bối cảnh toàn cầu hóa và hội nhập quốc tế hiện nay.
