The piled pier, a type of port structure is constructed popular in Viet Nam, infact it isn't consider earthquake load in design. Vietnam is located in areas with the possihility of earthquakes, the earthquakes happened rather regular near by, although earthquake intensity isn't high but so design of port structure in general and piled pier structure in particular with the earthquake load is considered essential to limit risks without prediction. The paper presents highlights of the seismic performance-base design for port structures developed hy the International Navigation Association (PIANC). This paper also presents analysis methods, research on the application for seismic performance-base design calculation of the piled pier and applicated of software for this prohlem.
