In the history of Vietnamese diplomacy, Vietnam - Soviet relations and later Vietnam - Soviet relations occupied a special position. In particular, the period of 1945-1975 was the period of Vietnam - Soviet relations that left a deep impression on ups and downs and played an important role in the development process of each country. Although there were some outstanding issues, in general, Vietnam-Soviet relations in this period contained favorable factors. The Soviet Union has provided great and comprehensive assistance to the Vietnamese people, thus contributing to enhancing the Soviet Union's role and international prestige. Within 30 years, the traditional friendship between Vietnam and the Soviet Union has been established, strengthened and strongly promoted to create a solid foundation and foundation for comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in different stages.
