Ownership of real estate is generally an absolute right. Apart from ownership, the right to adjoining immovable property is important to owners of encroached land. The rights to adjoining immovable property recorded in the 2015 Civil Code are also gradually revealing some inadequacies, not really consistent with reality. The paper examines these rights and makes recommendations to complete the law.
