The construction of Bung river 4 hydropower plant in Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province has made significant contributions to the local economic growth. However, accompanying hydroelectricity is a consequence of migration, resettlement, society, livelihoods, traditional culture and the environment. In particular, hydroelectricity has greatly influenced the livelihoods and accommodation of the Co-Tu people in village 2, Cao Po commune, Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province. Not only do they have to leave their living places to relocate to concentrated resettlement areas but also under pressure of changing living conditions, so they face many difficulties. In this context, the Co-Tu people changed their livelihoods to adapt to the new environment.
