Auto glass is one of the important components to ensure the ability to shield, protect and observe drivers and passengers. In addition to ensuring mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, light transmission, automotive glass must also ensure fragmentation. When a car's glass is broken by a collision, make sure the debris does not cause injury to humans. The paper presents the empirical method of determining the fragmentation of auto glass. The result is assessed by the number and size of debris in a specified area within the test area.
