The article introduces algorithms to combine clustering and compression sampling to reduce energy consumption in wireless sensor networks. Both compression and wireless sensor sampling technologies have many applications in different areas, civil as well as military. Based on the characteristics of highly correlated sensor data, a new algorithm for data transmission in the wireless sensor network is proposed to substantially reduce power consumption for the entire network. In addition, the energy drain for the data transmission in the network is formulated, then run the simulation to determine the accuracy of the established formula. In addition, the various operating cases of the network are reviewed along with suggestions for optimal cases of corresponding energy consumption.
