Total Quality Management is a method of managing an organization with quality-oriented, based on participation of all members, and in order to bring the long-term success through customer satisfaction and benefits of all the company's members and the society. Therefore, application of Total Quality Management in library - information activities is a needful work to improve the operating procedures of libraries towards a systematic operation, close control of the resources, time and cost saving, as well as increasing customer satisfaction with the services provided. The article gives an overview of the Total Quality Management tools and application of Total Quality Management in library - information activities in Viet Nam.
