Listeria monocytogenes serotype 1/2a, strain EGD-e in this study was pr.oved to have the stable morphological characteristics, culture and biochemical properties, corresponding to the common characteristics of L. monocytogenes, which was described in the home and abroad documents. PCR analysis results showed that when amplification of the 16S rRNA gene with the primers: UNI-F and UNI-R, used as a positive control for detecting bacteria, primers: MONO5-F and LlS-R for detecting Listeria genus and primers: MONO7-F and LlS-R for detecting monocytogenes species, which have given the DNA product corresponding to the expecting size. Comparison of nucleotide sequences of the original strain, the strain was passed through culture of the generations: 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th in LB media and the strain in the Gene Bank showed the similar level at 100 percent. L. monocytogenes were lyophilized and conserved at temperature - 20°C.
