The study which was conducted on 25 male rabbits aimed at evaluating morphological changes in the body, microorganism of autologous grafts on rabbit skull fragment under cryopreservation. Results showed that the graft was well tolerated. Moreover, initial bone healing was proceeded towards proliferating connective tissues and generating fibrous cartilage. The ossification occurred either directly and indirectly from fibrous cartilage. The grafted bone was gradually replaced by regenerated bone tissue.
