The training programs of an institution are the basic to the educational process and have a strategic function which is a basis for policy formulation and implementation of policy solutions in education. In Vietnam, the training model of the Bachelor of Educational Management program from formal education was made only about 5 years ago. Studying the curriculum of HNUE, the Vietnam National Institute of Educational Management and the School of Education (Hanoi National University) showed that the programs had several similar subjects, but that each program had its own strengths. However, the Educational Management training program outside of Vietnam usually places more emphasis on the capacity of consulting, training, and individual development which helps students learning to adapt to the changing work environment. This study hopes to provide an open view of how to improve the Educational Management training program in Vietnam.
