Objectives: Analyzing the clinical and radiological characteristics of para sagittal meningiomas. Materials and methods: Retrospective study of 61 parasagittal menigiomas underwent surgery at Bach Mai hospital and Viet Duc Hospital from 9.2013 to 3.2014. Results: Parasagittal meningiomas is 17,3 percent, mean age 54,1 (20-81), F:M is 1,54:1. Clinical characteristics includes: headaches (80,3 percent), hemiparesia/plegia (59 percent), seiz
res (41 percent). Radiological characteristics: size 3-6cm (59 percent), contrast enhancement 83,3 percent, middle third location 68,9 percent, oedema 95,08 percent, hypervascularization 80,3 percent. 555 still visible 11,1 percent. Conclusions: Oinical characteristics of parasagittal meningiomas are headaches, hemiparesia/plegia and seizures. Large size, contrastenhancement, hypervascularization and oedema, middle third location and total invaded 555 are frequent in radiological manifestations.
