Objectives: Learn the causes, the lesion morphology and assessment the results of surgical treatment for postoperative intestinal obstruction. Materials and menthods: Retrospective descriptive study 129 patients with emergency surgery treatment for postoperative intestinal obstruction in the nghe an general frlenship hospital from January 2009 to decembre 2012. Results: With 129 patients included: 89 (69 percent) male and 40 (31 percent) female, mean age 49 + or - 14.7 years (16-78). Postoperative ileus appendicitis 32.5 percent, surgery for small bowel 24.8 percent, 16.2 percent uterine appendages. Abdominal pain was 100 percent, including 66.7 percent of pain episodes, 33.3 percent constant pain
defecation hit was 100 percent, 93 percent distention. On abdominal scans were not prepared with images of water vapor at 93.7 percent, 67.4 percent dilated bowel loops images, 23.2 percent abdominal blur. Ultrasound conductor straps that 88.3 percent, 66.6 percent peritoneal fluid. Conclusions: Postoperative intestinal obstruction is a common complication after abdominal surgery, principles of surgical treatment is to be solved cause and appropriate preventive methods to postoperative intestinal obstruction.
