Introduction and objectives: To evaluate the result of ureteroscopic lithotripsy with Holmium laser. Patients anh Methods: The prospective cross-sectional study was perfomed on 98 patients with ureteral stone, from febrary 2012 to May 2013, at Thanh Nhan hospital. Results: Mean operation time 28.6 + or - 15,3 minutes, the mean post-op hospital: 3.2 days, success rate 89.8 percent, conversion rate 12.2 percent (combination with ESWL 8.16 percent
with open operation 2.04 percent). Success rate of 1/3, upper urenal tract: 86.4 percent, success rate of 1/3 below tract 93.1 percent. Complication rate 9.1 percent (Infection 3,4 percent, blood 5.7 percent). Conclusion: Ureteroscopic lithotripsy with Holmium laser is a minimum invasive, safe, effective method.
