In the study, external fixation was used in 94 patientS with unstable pelvic ring fractures with average age of 30,6 + or - 6,3 years (range 16-63 years), who underwent treatment from May 2007 to November 2011 in Cho Ray Hospital. Anatomical outcome: excellent 17 percent, good 44,7 percent, fair 30,9 percent and poor 7,4 percent. Functional outcome: excellent 27,2 percent, good 37 percent, fair 24,7 percent and poor 11,1 percent
results of group APC and LC is better than group VS, CM. Function improved during the first 18 months and thereafter was stable.
