Objective: To describe results of Emilio method - applied hypotension treatment in periodic haemofiltration amongst patients with chronic renal insufficiency, at Thai Nguyen National General Hospital. Sample and Methodology: Cross-sectional descriptive, surveying 382 cases with haemo-filtration amongst 117 patients with chronic renal failure at Thai Nguyen National General Hospital between February 2012 and May 2012. Results: Applying Emilio method to treat for 49 patients with hypotension, 47 (96 percent) cases were completely recovered, and the remaining, two patients (4 percent) were not treated. There were 42 of whom achieving successful treatment at grade I, 3 cases with this at grade II and two with that of grade III and the prevalence of success in treatment were 89.4 percent, 6.4 percent, and 4.2 percent respectively. Conclusions: Emilio method could bring high ratio of successful treatment to hypotension during periodic haemo-dialysis of patients with chronic renal insufficiency.
