Universal testing machine with load of 100kN and above were manufactured inland. However, to achieve high precision and satisfy a number of ASTM standards, the tension and deformation of the bearing details need to be determined in the process of loading, and on that basis determine the deformation of the whole system. This result is applied to support the design, fabrication and enhanced accuracy for universal testing machine to satisfy a number of ASTM standards. This paper presents the simulation results of tension and deformation of some important details bearing in universal testing machine with load of 300kN that the authors are designing, manufacturing to meet urgent needs learning, scientific research and production in several universities, testing centers and manufacturing plants.
