The study was carried out in 167 patients with skin cancers (case group) and 167 people (control group) to analyze relation between some risk factors and skin cancer. The results showed that male had higher risk of skin cancer than female (2 times). Smokers had higher risk more than the others (2.9 times)
People worked usually under the sun had higher risk of skin cancer than the others (1.7 times). People exposure with X-ray had higher risk of skin cancer than the others (2.5 times). Other factors such as age, residence, education, ethnicity, heating, electromagnetic wave, radioactive material in the study were not significant related to skin cancer. Conclusions: factors increased risk of skin cancer in the study were male, sunlight, smoke and X-ray exposure.
