The purpose of this study was to determine clinical characteristics and evaluation of limbalconjunctival autograft in primary pterygium. 65 eyes with primary pterygiums in 36 patients were underwent limbal-conjunctival autografts and 6-month post-surgical follow-up from March 2011 to December 2012. The patients with primary pterygium were mostly at aged over 40. Reduction in vision under 0.05, 0.05 - 0.3 and over 0.3 were 6.2 percent, 37.5 percent and 56.3 percent in pterygium eyes, respectively. The good surgical outcomes for pterygium of grade 2 ,3 and 4 were 93.7 percent, 86.1 percent, 76.9 percent at post-operative first month and 81.8 percent, 80.6 percent, 66.6 percent at 6th month. There was a significant relationship between pterygium grading and surgical outcomes.
