Background: hypoalbuminemia is fairly common disease and many causeses. One of the important treatment of methods is blood protein supplementation. Objective: To study the therapeutic effect of fresh frozen plasma (FFP) in patients with hypoalbuminemia. Subjects and Methods: 36 patients were diagnosed with hypoalbuminemia (average age is 48.52 + or - 8.38) caused by kidney disease and other chronic diseases treated by the base regiment with FFP after 2 weeks. Results: The clinical symptoms were edema, fatigue, changes in blood pressure after treatment was significantly improved compared with before treatment (p 0.05). Blood protein and albumin levels increased from 51.35 + or - 6.92 and 24.38 + or - 4.23 g/l to 60.12 + or - 5.22 and 31.44 + or - 4.53 g/l. Some indicators of renal function and blood coagulation changes significantly but within normal limits. Conclusions: The hypoalbuminemia was treated by FFP significant improvement of clinical symptoms and test of the patient. The function of the liver, kidneys, blood does'n affect.
