Purpose: to assess the knowledge, attitude and practice on children eyes' care of patients' relatives, being treated at Pediatric Department of Ophthamology in VNIO. Methods and subjects: cross sectional descriptive study. Subjects are patients' relatives with adequate cognitive ability and intellectual capacity, who directly take care children treated at Pediatric Department in VNIO, having agreed to answer questionnaires about knowledge, attitude and practice. The results are based on the scores on questionnaires. Results: of all 200 objects paticipated in this research, there are 135 females (67.5 percent), mainly in 21-40 years old, from the rural area (67.5 percent) and their literacy is mostly at junior and senior high school (60 percent). The result shows that there is 70 percent in knowledge and 80 percent in attitude at medium level but 90 percent in practice at good level. The number of good result questionnaires gained show no differences between age groups. Knowledge of both males andfemales in the study is at a good level and almost average equivalent, whereas poor results only come from groups of male (6.2 percent). Group objects at University and post-graduate level has good attitudes result at the highest (24.1 percent). The rate of highest good results shown in the group of subjects living in urban areas (17.1 percent). Conclusions: The knowledge, attitude and practice of research s subjects have no similarity as the differences in habitat influences, lifestyles, communities, literacy and individuals' awareness.
