Study on controlling Ralstonia solanacearom bacterium disease of gourd crop by grafted technicque was conducted in Tra Vinh province and Ho Chi Minh city from October 2010 to June 2012. The resuls indicated that grafting of the two-hybrid varieties F1-449 and F1-6168 with the rootstock of B1 and B2 varieties got the average rate of surviving crop over 82 percent at 10-days after grafting. Planting the giafted crops from these varieties reduced the incidence more 20 percent caused by Ralstonia solanacearoin bacterium disease, increased the fresh fruit yield and increased profit more 21 millions VND per hectare compared the non-grafting crops from these varieties.
