Bridge-crane is one of the most popular lifting machines used in the world for different purposes, such as: loading cargos in warehouses, assembling huge spare parts in factories, moving the heavy products, etc...The challenge is how to design a complete bridge-crane meeting all technical requirements in short time and low costs. The target of the paper is to solve the problem by developing one software for automatic design of the bridge cranes - DSCranes. DSCranes is integrated on ANSYS and uses 3D geometries built on Solidworks. The final designs of bridge cranes provided by DSCranes were compared to the designs of two bridge cranes operating at the factories for the same technical requirements.
