The Johnson-Cook (J-C) damage model is used to predict the behavior of ductile materials that withstand the impact of external load, such as temperature, strain and strain rate... This model is determined by five parameters D1, D2, D3, D4 and D5. In this paper, the parameters of J-C damage model for AISI steel were determined by combining Bridman's equation with tensile test results. Experiments were carried out at different strain rates and temperatures on specimens with different notch radii. The Matlab software was used to process experimental data and draw force vs displacement curves as well as stress vs strain graphs, base on these curves and Bridman's equation the parameters of J-C damage model are identified.
