Objective: to evaluate the results of laparo-endoscopic single-site surgery in the treatment of urinary lithiasis at Hue Central Hospital. Patients and method: a prospective crosssectional study was perform on 38 patients with urinary stones, treated by retroperitoneallaparoendoscopic single-site lithotomy at Department of General Surgery - Hue Central Hospital from June 2012 to June 2013. Results: Mean age 49.42 + or - 23.15 year old (25 77 year old)
ureterolithotomy 34/38 of cases, pyelolithotomy 02/38, both nephrolithotomy and ureterolithotomy 02/38. Mean operating time 59.34 + or - 31.13 mins (30 - 105 mins), postoperative hospital stay 5.39 + or - 2.11 days (4 - 12 days). SILS Port of Covidien was inserted by 2.5 cm skin transverse incision. Standard straight laparoscopic instruments were used instead of roticular instruments. Conclusion: Retroperitoneal Laparoendoscopic Single-Site Surgery in urinary lithiasis treatment is safety and feasibility, the results of the outcomes are quite encouraging with acceptable rate of complications.
