Allograft Achille tendon was often used in arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. The objective of the study was to describe the parameters of allograft Achille tendon and evaluate the result of arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with allograft Achille tendon. Thirty four (34) patients underwent anterior cruciate ligament rescoristruction using allograft Achille tendon were evaluated. The results showed that no patients suffer from infection, graft rejection or transmitted diseases. Knee function improved significantly for most patients. 44.1 percent patients reported excellent knee function, 47.1 percent patients reported good knee function, and 11.8 percent reported moderate knee function. No bad result was reported. The parameters used for Achille tendon graft were needed for a successful arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. In conclusion, Allograft Achille tendon in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction is a good method for Achille tendon graft and greatly improve the recovery of knee function.
