The study was conducted in 8 Medical Schools with the objectives: describe the current situation quality training assurance (QTA) by applying internal and external assessment methods. Methodologies: quantitative method using self reported and the Quality assessment checklist issued by the MoET and qualitative method: round table and FGD were applied. Results: the organization for QTA was varied among schools, low professional because of integrated with the Student Evaluation Unite, poor activities and not followed the MoET's guidelines. By inernal assessment (when requested) the situation is very good: 56-60 iteams over 61 were achieved. Whereas by the results of external assessment showed that the main indicators are not meet the MoET standards: the ratios lecture/ student were quite low in comparision to the number of students rocruited every year, the smaller school the ratios is low. Facilities of schools were not meet the MoET's requirements. Lacking of lecture rooms, text books as needed and the number of patient beds per student was low as well. The different situation among schools was defined. Main conclutions: The dispairity between results identified by internal and external assessments.
